Riding description
NDP MLA Claire Trevena is seeking a third term in this riding, after relatively narrow victories in the past two elections.
She’s facing Liberal Nick Facey, a PhD business candidate at Simon Fraser University, who has been working for months on his campaign in the riding.
Bob Bray, a retired businessman, is the sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Conservative candidate.
Forestry and raw log exports have been dominant issues in the riding for years, after the closure of Catalyst Paper’s Elk Falls paper mill in 2009.
