Alice takes you into a wonderful world of Lewis Carroll through music, puppetry and masks. 7 p.m.

May 13

May 15 and 16

- Jeff Parry Promotions presents: the Beatles experience. Rain is the most renowned Beatles tribute in the world. From the Ed Sullivan show to the St. Pepper era and on to the Abbey Road years, Rain's performance captures it all. 7:30 p.m.

May 19

- Empire Days Society presents: May Queen crowning. 7 p.m. The May Queen Crowning includes military bands and the traditional May Pole dance. Other Empire Days weekend events include: Sunday at 1 p.m. Empire Day Parade, 3 p.m. in Maffeo-Sutton Park parade award ceremonies 10 p.m. - Swy-a-Lana Lagoon - Fireworks.

- The Port Theatre and Indo-Canadian Business Association Co-present: Sukhdev Sukha. This India-born sa国际传媒 artist is attracting a lot of interest on

both sides of the globe and will be performing in Nanaimo for the first time ever. 7:30 p.m.

- Malaspina Choir presents Passionatley Purcell - Dido & Aeneas. Under the direction of conductor Wade Noble, Malaspina Choir joins the Victoria Chamber Orchestra to bring you an afternoon of aural delight. 2 p.m.

- Fitness Edge Health Club presents:

Fame Fitness and Model Expo.Featuring competition in bodybuilding, fitness, fitness model, figure and arm wrestling. The amateur and professional entrants will be vying for a chance to compete at the World Championships in June in Toronto. Prejudging - 9am . Finals - 6pm.
