A car veered off the road, crossed the sidewalk and crashed into a fence at Cedar Hill Cross Road and Epsom Drive after a two-vehicle collision Friday morning.
A driver received a 90-day driving prohibition and 30-day vehicle seizure after Saanich police administered a breath test.
There were no serious injuries in the crash, which occurred at 8:16 a.m. as children were walking to nearby Braefoot School and Cedar Hill Middle School.
