Queen crowning. 7 p.m. The May Queen Crowning includes military
bands and the traditional May Pole dance. Other Empire Days weekend events include: Sunday at 1 p.m. Empire Day Parade, 3 p.m. in Maffeo-Sutton Park parade award ceremonies 10 p.m. - Swy-a-Lana Lagoon - Fireworks.

- The Port Theatre and Indo-Canadian Business Association Co-present:
Sukhdev Sukha. This India-born sa国际传媒 artist is attracting a lot of interest on
both sides of the globe and will be performing in Nanaimo for the first time ever. 7:30 p.m.

- Malaspina Choir presents Passionately Purcell - Dido & Aeneas. Malaspina Choir joins the Victoria Chamber Orchestra to bring you an afternoon of aural delight. 2:30 p.m.

- Fitness Edge Health Club presents:
Fame Fitness and Model Expo. Featuring competition in bodybuilding, fitness, fitness model, figure and arm wrestling. The amateur and professional entrants will be vying for a chance to compete at the World Championships in June in Toronto. Prejudging starts at 9 a.m. Finals go at 6 p.m.

- Kirkwood Academy of Performing Arts presents: Sing! Sing! Sing! Happy 30th Anniversary to celebrating a milestone with three diverse perfor-
mances showcasing students from
ages three to adult. The program will be opened by Kirkwood Youth Dance Company's piece Sing! Sing! Sing! with choreography by Jennifer Quibell. 1 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

- Tempo Dance Academy presents: Dance Extravaganza.A collaboration of dances - ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern stage. 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Spring Recital. A variety of dances and dance styles presented by all students of Harbour Dancentre, ages three to adult. Dance styles included are ballet, jazz, tap, modern, hip hop and musical theatre. events at 2 p.m. and at evening performance at 7 p.m.
