A cougar was reported in Esquimalt Sunday night by staff at the Graving Dock.
The big cat was reported close to the roadway at the east end of the south jetty on Department of Nation Defence property, town officials said.
Victoria Police, Military Police and the sa国际传媒 Conservation Officer Service have been informed and are investigating.
