Nanaimo man hasn't been seen since May 9, needs medication

The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for help in finding Robert Cox, 60, who has not been seen since leaving his central Nanaimo home on May 9. He needs daily medication, which he does not have with him.

The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for help in finding Robert Cox, 60, who has not been seen since leaving his central Nanaimo home on May 9.

He needs daily medication, which he does not have with him. His support network and investigators are concerned for his safety and well-being, police said Monday.

Cox is a white male, 5 ft. 11 inches tall, 300 pounds, with wispy grey hair and brown eyes.

His left thumb is amputated and he has a tattoo of an eagle on his right arm. Cox walks with a limp due to a recent infection.
