Legendary sa国际传媒 folk trio Pied Pumkin-- Rick Scott, Shari Ulrich and Joe Mock-- will perform two shows on Protection Island this weekend.
Saturday at 11:30 a.m. they will play an outdoor family concert at 7 Captain Kidds Terrace. Gate opens at 11 a.m. -- the 11:10 a.m. ferry will arrive just in time for the show. Tickets are $6 children, $8 adult, $25 family of four, or $5 any age with a return ferry pass. Bring a blanket to sit on and a picnic for lunch in the adjoining park playground after the show.
A few advance tickets ($15) are still available for Pumkin's 9 p.m. show Sunday at the Dinghy Dock Pub. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15. Sorry, no minors. If weather is warm, outdoor seating on the deck will be sold at the door. There will be a special ferry back to Nanaimo after the show. For tickets call 740-0047 or email [email protected].
