Rifflandia is dipping into the pool of homegrown talent for its 10th anniversary as a record number of sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½-based acts are scheduled to perform at the popular Victoria festival.

The four-day event, running Sept. 14-17 at various venues, announced its final wave of artists today, in addition to ticket prices and packages. More than 75 per cent of the artists performing this year call sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ home, according to organizers, but the biggest names added to the roster today — G Jones, Grandtheft, and Boogie T — hail from California, Ontario and Louisiana, respectively. The electronic acts will join a roster of more than 100 acts that includes previously announced headliners Moby, Zeds Dead, Bonobo, July Talk, and A Tribe Called Red.

New for Rifflandia 2017 is an expanded Electric Avenue, the portion of Discovery Street behind Phillips Brewery. The block-party, situated between Government Street and Wharf Street, will cover considerably more ground this year as it has increased from three stages to five with the addition of The Duke Saloon and The HOP (Hands on Pottery).

The full schedule of artists can be found at rifflandia.com. Tickets are available for between $40 and $295 at Ticketfly.com and Lyle’s Place.
