A Victoria police officer who was involved in a collision while on duty in July has been given a ticket for failing to stop at a red light. The collision, which occurred about 8 a.m. July 8 at Douglas and Johnson streets, was captured on a dashcam.

Neither the officer nor the lone occupant in the other vehicle was hurt.

The cost of the ticket is $167 and two demerit points.
