Artist Linda Lindsay speaks as her sculpture Winds of Time is unveiled at its new home at the King George Terrace lookout in Oak Bay on Friday.
An anonymous donor provided $18,000 for the sculpture, which depicts a woman rising from the Salish Sea, and another $3,000 for a specially made steel plinth.
It was previously featured as part of ArtsAlive on Oak Bay Avenue in 2019. Council approved the installation in September.
Another of Lindsay鈥檚 sculptures, M鈥檃khotso (Mother of Peace), is displayed outside the Monterey Recreation Centre.
