The number of government-run sa国际传媒 Cannabis Stores doubled this week with the opening of two more stores in Campbell River and Cranbrook.
The outlets, which are operated by the Liquor Distribution Branch, are the first two sa国际传媒 Cannabis Stores to open outside of Kamloops.
Each store will be staffed by about 16 employees, including a store manager, two assistant store managers and knowledgeable cannabis consultants.
The branch said it expects to have a total of 15 stores open before the end of the year.
The first sa国际传媒 Cannabis Store opened in Kamloops on Oct. 17, 2018, the same day recreational cannabis was legalized in sa国际传媒. A second government store opened in the Interior city three week ago.
Since last October, 43 privately run, licensed cannabis stores have opened in sa国际传媒
