Calgary-based Craft Beer 颅Market is taking over operations at Canoe Brewpub on Victoria鈥檚 Upper Harbour.
The company, which now has nine locations in sa国际传媒, Alberta and Ontario, acquired the operation from the Truffles Group and plans 鈥渟ignificant renovations in the near future.鈥 Truffles Group owner Don Calveley will retain 颅ownership of the land, 颅buildings and 颅marinas and lease the 颅restaurant, patio and brewpub space to Craft Beer Market.

Craft Beer Market operates a flagship location in the Salt Building in Vancouver鈥檚 Olympic Village and is opening a second Vancouver location on Beach Avenue in the West End.
It also has locations in Kelowna, Ottawa and Toronto, two in 颅Calgary and another in 颅Edmonton.
The brand, founded by 颅president PJ L鈥橦eureux, focuses on North American and 颅international craft beers on tap, paired with local food.
鈥淥ur plan is to keep Canoe as Canoe for the time being,鈥 said L鈥橦eureux. That will include continuing to brew the Canoe mainstay beers at the brewery while exploring other 颅progressive brands.
Matt Phillips of Phillips Brewing said he鈥檚 excited about welcoming Craft Beer Market to Victoria.

The Truffles Group owns eight Cascadia Liquor 颅locations 鈥 with four new Island 颅locations planned for the near future 鈥 along with Truffles 颅Catering, Habitat Catering, Sequoia Coastal Coffee, Victoria 颅Butterfly Gardens and Flight Cannabis.
