Kenmore Air will launch a new direct seaplane service between Victoria’s Inner Harbour and Friday Harbor Marina in Washington state in May.

The service will operate twice daily from May 16 until Nov. 1.

The 30-minute flight will leave Friday Harbor Marina at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day and depart the Inner Harbour at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Flights out of Victoria start at $129 US per person one-way.

Kenmore Air has been flying for 78 years and is the largest seaplane airline in the U.S.

Last year, the company added daily round-trip flights with wheeled aircraft between Victoria International Airport and Washington state.

“We are thrilled to offer another convenient and scenic connection between two iconic destinations in the Pacific Northwest,” Kenmore president David Gudgel said of the Friday Harbor service.
