There’s still room for more participants in Nanaimo’s Commercial Street night market starting this month.
Vendors, musicians or food truck operators interested in taking part in the revived market, which is returning after a two-season break because of the pandemic, can contact the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce.
The popular market opens June 23 and runs for 11 consecutive Thursdays between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Nearly all the spots for vendors have been taken up and about 10 food trucks are signed up. Three entertainment stages will be in place, along with a kids-and-family zone.
Road closures will be in effect. A bike parking compound will be set up.
