The Victoria Airport Authority has issued a request for proposals for engineering and conceptual design of its new business park. The authority is planning to convert 43 acres of airport reserve land into a campus-style business park ... Phase 2 of the massive Mariners Village project in Sooke - dubbed Merchant's Landing - is moving ahead. The mixed-use development by Condor Properties, led by Mike Barrie and partners, will have commercial and retail space and 36 residential units. Vancouver architect Omicron is working on the final design. Condor Properties is expected to tender excavation and concrete trades in late August or early September, with construction start anticipated in October.
