WestJet adds flights starting in July, including through Victoria

WestJet has released a July schedule that adds flights within sa国际传媒 and to some U.S. cities. Vancouver Island airports are among those that will see increased service under the July聽5 to Aug. 4 schedule announced on Monday.

WestJet has released a July schedule that adds flights within sa国际传媒 and to some U.S. cities.

Vancouver Island airports are among those that will see increased service under the July聽5 to Aug. 4 schedule announced on Monday.

At Victoria International Airport, WestJet will have two flights daily between Victoria and Vancouver, as well as two flights daily between Victoria and Calgary.

There will be six flights per week between Victoria and Edmonton.

WestJet will be flying six times聽weekly between Nanaimo and聽Calgary and six times weekly聽between Comox and Calgary.

The July schedule will see WestJet serve 45 destinations, including 39 in sa国际传媒, five in the U.S. and one in Mexico.

That represents 102 per cent more flights than in June, but a drop of 76 per cent from July 2019, the company said in a statement.

Arved von zur Muehlen, WestJet chief commercial officer, said health vigilance must be balanced with the gradual reopening of the economy.
