Sig Peterson and Elizabeth Rathlef first met as students at UBC. It was love at first sight! On December 20th 1947 they tied the knot at Elizabeth's home in Nanaimo BC and started their adventurous life together. 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren later, they have set an amazing example of a deeply committed, respectful, kind, patient and loving relationship.
