Demo night coming Saturday at Western Speedway track

Saturday night is the last chance for demo drivers at Western Speedway to accumulate points before Championship Night on Sept. 29. Spectators can expect to see lots of regular action with Demo Cars, Demo Trucks, Bombers and Mini Figure 8s.

Saturday night is the last chance for demo drivers at Western Speedway to accumulate points before Championship Night on Sept. 29. Spectators can expect to see lots of regular action with Demo Cars, Demo Trucks, Bombers and Mini Figure 8s. Watch for the Hornets in the infield as well.

An added bonus will be a Total Destruction event to end the night.

Back gate opens to cars at 3 p.m. with practice beginning at 4: 15. The front gate opens to the public 15 minutes later. Qualifying rounds start at 5: 30, with racing at 6: 30. The show ends when the last Total Destruction competitor remains victorious on the field, sometime around 10 p.m.

Admission to Western Speedway, 2207 Millstream Rd., is $15 adults, $10 seniors, youth and military, $7 children 7-12. Family pack $35 (two adults, four kids).
