If you are looking for a little bit of excitement on two wheels this summer, you might want to check out the Victoria Supermoto Association and their race series, now until the last week in September.

The group, formed in 2001, is the largest Supermoto club in British Columbia with more than 100 riders, more than 40 of them actively racing at Western Speedway.

There are two race series running concurrently, with between one and two race nights per month (two races per class each evening) throughout the season.

There are track-night classes and five race classes (Mini to Expert) for which to sign up.

Practice sessions take place from 4:30 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday between April and the end of September.

The race events and practice sessions are open and free for viewing to the public.

The club is run entirely by a group of dedicated volunteers and a very active membership.
