James Corden heading to SiriusXM next year with a weekly show

NEW YORK (AP) 鈥 James Corden may be off TV screens after leaving CBS鈥 鈥淭he Late Late Show鈥 but that doesn't mean he's stopped chatting with celebrities.

NEW YORK (AP) 鈥 James Corden may be off TV screens after but that doesn't mean he's stopped chatting with celebrities.

The multiple Emmy- and Tony Award-winner who gave the world 鈥淐arpool Karaoke鈥 is launching a new weekly show set for early 2024 on called "This Life of Mine with James Corden."

The show will 鈥渇eature in-depth conversations with the world鈥檚 biggest stars, discussing the people, places, moments and memories that made them who they are today,鈥 according to producers.

鈥淛ames has been a trailblazer in the entertainment business,鈥 said Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM鈥檚 president and chief content officer in a statement. 鈥淲e鈥檙e so honored to welcome him to the SiriusXM family as he begins this next phase of his illustrious career and makes his mark in audio."

SiriusXM is hosting an event in New York on Wednesday where it will showcase its new SiriusXM streaming app, as well as new programming, live performances and surprise celebrity guests.

In a statement, Corden called his new show 鈥渁 new chapter,鈥 adding 鈥渋t's a dream to have a space to engage in deep conversations with the people whose work and talent I greatly admire.鈥

He has won 12 Emmy Awards as a host, writer, producer, and actor. He is also a Tony Award winner, multiple BAFTA Award-winner, in addition to a Golden Globe Award nominee.
