Victoria Mendelssohn Choir Auditions for the season beginning September. Repertoire is mostly Baroque, classical, romantic, but more modern/popular works also performed. Every Thursday to Aug. 30, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. More info. at 250-478-8843. Male singers very welcome.
Islands Short Fiction Contest. Vancouver Island and the northern and southern Gulf Islands residents are invited to enter.
