An eclectic mix of local dance artistry will be on display Saturday.
Tickets for the Bounce Dance Cabaret, held at Dance Victoria's performance lab, are $15 at the door. Doors open at 8: 30 p.m. and there is a licensed bar.
Kelly Hobson hosts the show, with featured musical guest Sara Marreiros and Band.
This year, new work hits the stage from Stacey Horton, Brandy Baybutt, Lori Hamar, Dawn Hartshorne, Kimberly Tuson, Constance Cooke, Lynda Raino, David Roland, Ashley Evans and Holly Bright. There will also be a tribute to collaborator Hugh MacPherson.
Dancer and choreographer Treena Stubel created Bounce Dance Cabaret in 2008 to promote new choreography and art by independent dance and physical theatre artists. She won Dance Victoria's Chrystal Award in 2010 for best new dance initiative in the city.
