Two-time Academy Award winner Milos Forman is receiving the lifetime-achievement award from his peers at the Directors Guild of America.
The filmmaker who won Oscars for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Amadeus will be getting the guild honour at the directors union awards ceremony Feb. 2.
Forman is the 34th recipient of the guild honour, whose past recipients include Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, Ingmar Bergman, Orson Welles and Alfred Hitchcock.
