Laura Linney is in talks to join Benedict Cumber-batch in DreamWorks "Untitled Julian Assange WikiLeaks Project," a person familiar with the situation said.
James McAvoy is also in talks for the project, which is based on two books: Inside WikiLeaks: My Time with Julian Assange at the World's Most Dangerous Website by Daniel Domscheit-Berg, and WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange's War on Secrecy by David Leigh and Luke Harding.
Cumberbatch is expected to play Assange.
Bill Condon is directing from a script by Josh Singer.
Linney has been nominated for an Oscar three times for the films The Savages, Kinsey and You Can Count on Me. -
