Heather Lindsay, a mainstay of the Victoria theatre community, has amicably departed Intrepid Theatre after nine years with the company.
Lindsay was named executive and artistic director of Intrepid Theatre in 2016, after joining the contemporary theatre company in 2012. She helped raise its profile across the country through award-winning comedy, theatre, dance and spoken word productions.
Intrepid Theatre is responsible for a number of annual events, including UNO Fest, OUTstages, and the popular Victoria Fringe Festival.
The company also oversees the Intrepid Theatre Club and The Metro Studio, renovations to which Lindsay oversaw during her final months with the company.
Managing director Justine Shore and co-artistic director Sean Guist will be the new operations and programming leads at Intrepid Theatre.
