Mother Mother, July Talk among incoming wave of Victoria concerts

Live events are back on the Victoria concert calendar in a big way with shows by four high-profile Canadian acts set to visit the Royal Theatre in the coming months. Singer-songwriter Bahamas is first up on Nov. 17.

Live events are back on the Victoria concert calendar in a big way with shows by four high-profile Canadian acts set to visit the Royal Theatre in the coming months.

Singer-songwriter Bahamas is first up on Nov. 17. The banner under which acclaimed guitarist and singer Afie Jurvanen operates will stop at the Royal Theatre as part of the Still Sad tour, with Madison Cunningham opening. Tickets are $40.50.

Electro-rockers USS, the Juno-nominated Toronto duo, will bring its Final Freakquency tour to the Broughton Street theatre on Dec. 9. Tickets start at $39. Push + Pull hitmakers July Talk ($40.50) wind down their cross-country Live at Last tour at the venue on Dec. 23.

Vancouver鈥檚 Mother Mother, whose star has risen significantly during the pandemic, are on the docket for 2022, with dates on April 29 and 30 at the Royal Theatre as part of its INSIDE tour. The dates kick off a 16-date Canadian run for Quadra Island siblings Ryan and Molly Guldemond at $52.25 per seat.
