Acclaimed singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith will perform two solo sets at the Alix Goolden Performance Hall on Sunday, the first high-profile contemporary music concert inside the hallowed hall in nearly two years.
Sexsmith, a three-time Juno Award winner who has drawn praise from Elvis Costello and Paul McCartney, is touring his 2020 album, Hermitage, for the time since the pandemic began. The Alix Goolden Performance Hall has been similarly low-key until recently, when it re-opened to concerts for the general public.
The concert is all-ages. Doors are at 7 p.m. Tickets are $34.50 from or the Alix Goolden Box Office (900 Johnson St.) at 250-386-5311.
