A program of short films from sa国际传媒, France and the United States will activate the window display at Deluge Contemporary Art through the weekend.
Rising runs until Jan. 9, and includes work by contemporary filmmakers Emily Pelstring (sa国际传媒), Laura Kraning (United States), Charlotte Clermont (sa国际传媒), and Pierre Ajavon (France). The series, which can be viewed from the street, runs nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Deluge transom window at 636 Yates St. The quartet of films incorporate several mediums and formats, including photograms, 16mm film, holography, and sound. The pieces runs approximately three to four minutes each.
