Martin Short fans should feel free to go completely mental - the Hamilton-reared funny-man has been announced as the host of the Saturday Night Live Christmas show.
The Emmy-winning SCTV vet will host the sketch series for the third time on Dec. 15, according to a press release from NBC.
Short was also a cast member on SNL for the 1984-85 season.
Paul McCartney will be the musical guest, stopping by the SNL stage for a fourth time.
