The first North American tour in three years by Tash Sultana will stop July 15 at the Royal Theatre.
Sultana’s Victoria debut is just one of four Canadian stops on a world tour in support of the album Terra Firma, which drew raves upon its release last year.
The concert comes at an opportune time for local fans as the 26 year-old former street busker and prodigious guitarist from Australia is on an upward trajectory; upcoming shows include a June 12 date at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado — which sold out in five minutes — and a June 19 appearance at this year’s Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee.
Tickets for the Royal Theatre performance go on sale 10 a.m. Friday through the . Prices start at $50.50.
