Tiller’s Folly will celebrate its 25th year of music making on Nov. 18 with a star-studded concert at Nanaimo’s Port Theatre.
The Vancouver-based Celtic group, which features singer-guitarist Bruce Coughlan, singer-bassist Laurence Knight, and fiddler Nolan Murray, will be joined at its unofficial kitchen party by longtime collaborators Valdy, Gary Fjellgaard and members of O’Brien Irish Dance. The concert will celebrate the band’s quarter-century commitment to preserving provincial folklore, as much of Tiller’s Folly music details Canadiana which is unique to sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½
“The show will be much more than a retrospective,” Knight said in a statement. “We’re taking into account our amazing guests and including many show-stoppers from throughout our 25 years of touring.”
