One of sa国际传媒's style capitals is getting ready to join in the festivities for Fashion's Night Out next week.
Toronto will play host to its own series of events on Sept. 6.
Fashion's Night Out was launched in New York in 2009 to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence and draw shoppers back to stores in a bid to bolster the industry's economy during the recession.
The star-studded New York event - which coincides with the start of Fashion Week in the Big Apple - has since expanded to cities around the world, with events held last year in 18 countries.
Australia, Brazil, China, India and the U.K. are among those set to participate this year.
The Toronto event will include designer appearances and exhibitions in spots throughout the city from 6-11 p.m., including the Queen St. West and Yorkville shopping districts.
This won't be the first time Fashion's Night Out has hit sa国际传媒. Last year, events were staged in cities in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. -
