From egg hunts to visits with the Easter Bunny, check out some of the Easter events taking place around Greater Victoria this long weekend.

Victoria

Fairfield United Church Easter Egg Hunt. Hippity hoppity down for our annual Easter Egg Hunt at Robert Porter Park. We will sing a few songs, hunt for some eggs in age-appropriate groups and retrieve some candy! Caregiver supervision is required for all children. Siblings under age one of a registered child are free. Please bring your own Easter basket. We will also be collecting donations for Our Place, suggested donation $5 per child or $10 per family. Esquimalt

Esquimalt Lion’s Easter Eggstravaganza. Join the Esquimalt Lions Club at Bullen Park for entertainment, food, crafts, face painting and, of course, hunting for Easter eggs! Sunday, April 9, noon. at 鈥婤ullen Park.

Saanich

The Neal Estate Group’s 24th Annual Easter Egg Hunt in support of sa国际传媒 Children’s Hospital at Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park. Featuring an egg hunt with more than 35,000 hidden chocolates, face painting, crafts and refreshments as well as prizes. Saturday, April 8, 10 am. to 1 p.m.

Saanich Kids’ Easter Egg Hunt. The fun starts at 10 a.m. at Copley East Park. Don’t forget to bring your own basket! All ages, Saturday, April 8, 10 a.m. to noon at Copley Park East. Details at .

Peninsula

Peninsula Celebrations Society and Helmsing Real Estate invite families to hop over for some fun! Children are invited to bring their Easter baskets to Dominion Brook Park (across from the Panorama Recreation Centre on East Saanich Road) in North Saanich to find the hidden eggs, visit the Easter Bunny, and enjoy games and activities. There will also be appearances from Elsa, Snow White and Spider Man! Inflatables open at 12:15, p.m., egg hunt at 1 p.m. — please bring your own baskets. Sunday, April 9, starting at 12:15 p.m. at Dominion Brook Park.

Butchart Gardens is holding its Easter Bunny Hunt April 7-10. Children 17 years and younger admitted to the gardens will be given a map, marking the location of 10 bunnies hidden throughout the gardens. Once attendees have found all the bunnies, completed maps can be turned in at the Information Centre for an Easter treat and to enter a draw for an Easter basket. Friday, April 7, through Monday, April 10, at Butchart Gardens, 800 Benvenuto Ave. Paid admission to the gardens required.

West Shore

The V.I.B. (very important bunny) is back! On April 8, bring your phone or camera and snap a complimentary pic with the Easter Bunny before they have to leave to deliver your chocolates. Saturday, April 8, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at WestshoreTown Centre.

Easter Egg Hunt at Meadow Park. Hunt for thousands of chocolate eggs in Meadow Park alongside the Easter Bunny. The hunt starts at 11 a.m. sharp, so arrive beforehand and bring your own baskets. Entrance will be off of LatoriaBoulevard. Following the hunt, families can hop through the lush trails of Royal Bay to Meadow Park Green, where more family fun awaits including cookie decorating, inflatables and more. Saturday, April 8, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Meadow Park in Colwood.

Sooke

Third Annual Easter Egg Hunt including egg hunt, popcorn, face painting, colouring and prizes. Saturday, April 8, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Ed Macgregor Park, 2205 Otter Point Rd., Sooke. The egg hunts take place at 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
