Rain or shine, Victoria will be coming into sharp focus on Saturday as shutterbugs of all skill levels hit the streets.
If you're one of that increasing number of folks who can walk around town while checking your smart-phone, you're already qualified to participate in this more legitimate activity - taking pictures while exploring Victoria and its waterfront.
It's the Victoria edition of the fifth annual World Wide Photo Walk, an activity that attracted nearly 30,000 participants in 1,100 cities last year.
The free three-hour event begins at 9: 30 a.m. next to the fountain in Centennial Square.
Prizes include photofinishing gift certificates from local retailers to be presented at a lunch nearby after the event.
