Mount Washington's early bird rates last until Sept. 30. Rates increase to regular season pricing on October 1.

The break-even for an Alpine Pass (full season, 7 days a week) is 14 days. For Midweek passholders, the break-even is a mere 7 days.

Mount Washington's Season Pass options are varied, from the all-inclusive Gold to the Alpine no-frills option for skiing or boarding to the Midweek, which offers value for those looking to ride during non-peak periods.

And new this season is the Rookie Year. Rookie Year is a ground breaking all-inclusive season pass designed specifically for kids who are first-time skiers and boarders.

The Rookie provides kids with an unlimited Season Pass, unlimited ski or snowboard rentals, plus unlimited afternoon group lessons in Mountain Kids- all season long. Children 12 years of age or younger who have never skied or snowboarded before qualify for the Rookie Year

To purchase your pass, head to MyMW, the mountain's online store, at mountwashington.ca. All online season pass purchases will be entered into a draw to win back the cost of the season pass for the 2013/14 winter season.

The mountain is also heading to various locations via the Season Pass Roadshow- Courtenay on September 20-21, Campbell River on September 22, Nanaimo on September 29 and Victoria on September 28.
