A dozen-plus hotels are offering packages for the March 23 and 24 event at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field Event Center, the largest single-region wine and food gathering in the U.S.

The weekend includes educational seminars on topics ranging from the art of blending wines to the Northwest cider industry and pairing cured meats and artisan cheeses with Belgian beer. Prices of seminars range from $25 to $75.

There’s also a grand tasting March 23 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with grape-growers and winemakers from Washington’s 13 viticultural areas represented. The cost is $80 to $185. General admission to the event, which runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day, is $80 for one day, $125 for two.

Tickets are sold in advance, with a limited number available at the door. Participants must be at least 21, with valid ID.
