Art of the Cocktail is a threeday journey into the art, craft and tradition of the cocktail. Called sa国际传媒's premier cocktail event, Art of the Cocktail is celebrating its fourth year in Victoria as one of the Victoria Film Festival's most elegant events. This year's cocktail extravaganza will be held Oct. 13-15 at the Crystal Garden and includes workshops, tastings and a bartender competition featuring some of the savviest mixologists around. You can get in on the action by volunteering in a variety of roles, including setup/teardown, advertising, box office, kitchen crew, drivers, photographers and more. An information session will be held Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. at the Victoria Film Festival office. Shifts are generally five hours and training will be provided. Volunteers earn free film tickets for the 2013 Victoria Film Festival, an added incentive to take part. Media Copy Writer: Volunteer Victoria seeks a creative, dedicated media copy writer to research, write and format the weekly volunteer opportunities column for various media outlets.
