A 6.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded just after 8 a.m. Thursday about 183 kilometres southwest of Port Alice, at a depth of 10 kilometres.
The quake was “lightly” felt, according to Natural Resources sa国际传媒. No tsunami was expected.
It was one of four quakes recorded in the area on Thursday between 8 a.m. and 10:34 a.m.
