An eight-year-old has been hospitalized with serious injuries after being hit by a driver in a school parking lot in Nanaimo on Tuesday morning.
Nanaimo RCMP said the boy was struck just after 8 a.m. at Discover Montessori School at 3460 Jingle Pot Rd.
The driver remained at the scene and is co-operating with police, the RCMP said.
The investigation is ongoing.
