A cyclist was struck by a vehicle on the Bay Street bridge early Tuesday afternoon in a suspected road-rage incident.
The incident happened just before 1 p.m.
The driver left the area but was later located by officers and arrested for dangerous operation of a vehicle and failing to remain at the scene of a motor-vehicle incident.
Paramedics assessed the cyclist, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver has since been released with a court date.
Police released a witness’s video showing the suspect vehicle fleeing, and are asking for anyone with further footage to call 250-995-7654, extension 1.
