Three men and three women were taken into custody after a Nanaimo RCMP team that investigates marijuana-growing operations carried out search warrants on five homes yesterday. More than 40 officers were involved in the operation, some of which contained what police called "very sophisticated bunkers" hidden beneath rooms or workshops. All of the homes are believed to be linked, police said.
