A Saanich man has been charged with seven gunand drug-related offences stemming from a search carried out at a Tattersall Drive home.
Mark William Guy, 30, was in court Wednesday and is set for another appearance on Aug. 8.
The charges against Guy include possession of cocaine and ecstasy for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of marijuana. He is also charged with the unlicensed possession of a .357 Magnum, a .38 special revolver and a Remington 870 shotgun.
A 27-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man also arrested in connection with the search warrant were released. They are scheduled to be in court Sept. 12. Charges against them have yet to be approved.
The three arrests resulted from a co-operative effort involving the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team and the Saanich police street crime unit.
