A Saanich landlord convicted of fraud for taking multiple payments for the same rental suite will be sentenced Thursday in Victoria provincial court.
On Feb. 2, Charmaine Soleil Roy pleaded guilty to 10 counts of fraud and a breach of her court-imposed conditions, which included a stipulation that she not accept payment for any rental property.
Roy remains in custody. A pre-sentence report -- which looks at extenuating circumstances that should be taken into account in sentencing -- has been prepared.
