This week marks a shift in publishing schedule for this newspaper and the advent of a number of new features, both in print and online.

Starting tomorrow, the sa国际传媒 will cease publishing a Monday edition. However, we'll continue to bring you breaking news and a number of other new features online Mondays, and we're refurbishing our offerings in the print edition of the newspaper, starting on Tuesday.

We'll tell you more about the new print features next week. But here's a preview of what you will see

Mondays on our website, www.timescolonist.com.

- Breaking news. Our newsroom will bring you the latest in from Victoria and Vancouver Island Mondays, as we do the rest of the week.

- The Week Ahead. This new feature will give you a heads-up about the coming week in Victoria, from public meetings to hot new movies. Look for the label "The Week Ahead" on the site.

- Sports. Local sports events will appear on the home page of our website as well as in the topic page (it's labelled "Sports" in the pull-down menu at the top of the site). Tomorrow, for instance, look for news about the Victoria International Triathlon at Elk Lake and the results of the ball game between the Seals and the Edmonton Capitals.

- Monday letters. The best of the letters that arrive over the weekend will be posted, along with room for you to add your own observations.

- Victoria photo gallery. This will feature highlights from our award-winning staff photographers.

- Dave and Phil's Eating Adventures. This is a new blog in which two cheapskates forage for fine food, whether it's the Wendy's Snack Attack or the sa国际传媒 Ferries buffet.

There's more, as you will discover by looking at our website, www.timescolonist.com.

We will also preview highlights from the Tuesday print edition as well as what is online in the box below this article.

Because there is no longer a Monday sa国际传媒, we're moving some features around. Today, for instance, we've published the puzzles that would have appeared in the Monday paper. There are also two horoscopes. And columns like Mike Devlin's 10 Things, Rosa Harris-Adler's Vital Signs and the advice column Ask Rhona will move to other days of the week.

Devlin's 10 Things will be in the Tuesday sa国际传媒; Harris-Adler appears on Thursdays, and Rhona moves to Fridays.

Look for more information next week about other new features in print.
