A 36-year-old man is facing numerous charges after fleeing from Comox Valley RCMP in what turned out to be a stolen vehicle.
Traffic officers tried to pull the man over Thursday morning in the Black Creek area, but he kept driving. He turned down a gravel road and abandoned the vehicle at a gate.
An RCMP helicopter and dog helped to track the man.
