UPDATE: Dalton Vanance has been arrested, according to Nanaimo RCMP.
Nanaimo RCMP are searching for a man wanted on a province-wide warrant on a charge of assault by choking.
Dalton Vanance, 29, is described as white, six-foot-one and 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Police ask anyone with information on Vanance’s whereabouts to call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345. Anonymous reports can be made by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
