The driver of a pickup involved in a sideswipe hit-and-run on the Trans-sa国际传媒 Highway in View Royal has come forward, West Shore RCMP said Tuesday.
A northbound Hyundai Elantra was significantly damaged when the pickup, which had been travelling behind the Elantra, came alongside and hit the car twice about 5:30 p.m. on July 4, police said.
The car’s occupants were uninjured.
The pickup driver stopped briefly but left the scene before exchanging information with the Elantra driver, police said.
