Brazilian organizers of the 2016 Olympics say they will take steps to avoid the problem of empty seats affecting the London Games. Rio de Janeiro organizing CEO Leonardo Gryner said "we have some ideas to keep the stadiums full at all times." He said "we hope to do better than London but it is not an easy challenge."
The swaths of empty seats in London have been blamed mostly on sports officials not using their allocations of prime seats. - The Associated Press
