Saanich police are investigating a Sunday break-in at Lake Hill Elementary School involving a group of people who targeted electronic devices and discharged a fire extinguisher.
Police said they were called to the Lucas Avenue school about 8:30 p.m.
Two people were apprehended.
The Greater Victoria School District said that the break-in triggered the school’s security system, alerting officers from the Commissionaires.
Most of the electronic devices taken have been recovered, the district said, and the residue from the fire extinguisher has since been cleaned up.
