Police say a large amount of stolen property, including laptops and replica handguns, was recovered in a search at a Fernwood apartment on Thursday.
Police from the Oak Bay, Saanich and Victoria departments worked for two weeks with officers from the Regional Crime Unit to pinpoint the Ridge Road residence. Some of the recovered property has already been linked to a break-in in Oak Bay.
Police are recommending a 32-year-old man be charged with possession of stolen property and prohibited weapons, as well as drug charges.
